The mornings were my absolute favourite! The way that this retreat is structured is for us to connect with ourselves and then connect with each other before we do anything in the day. And to me, that was extremely special. And I got so much value not only at a personal level but also casually, with business practices and things like that. I feel like that morning really built such a beautiful bond with everybody. These are people I gonna stay in touch with for the rest of my life, you know! And it was just truly special.
And so, here I was able to truly get a reset personally AND professionally. That’s exactly what I needed. But at the same time, I’m working through some personal stuff, bringing it to life. Also working through some of the business stuff that was giving me that anxiety. And getting clarity on both of those fronts was exactly what I needed in order to shift personally and professionally. Now I’m just ready to hit the ground running when I leave here!
The retreat is extremely organized and well done. But if there’s one thing I want to emphasize it’s that the people that are coming here. Maris has done an amazing job of not just getting anybody but getting high-level, conscious-minded individuals to come to this experience. And that is absolutely what elevates this whole thing. You can have a week-long retreat with people. Then you can have a week-long retreat with like-minded, conscious-minded people. And that is something that is truly special. So it’s the individuals, the humans that come here that make the experience.

The girls of borderless retreats are full of positive energy, so inspiring in what they do and how they share it with the world.
And yes, it's true, it was a life-changing experience for me. The people you meet and the conversations you have were on another level for sure - deep, self-reflected and meaningful. Everyone who is looking for a possibility of self-development, an inspiration for life or just a week full of enjoyment should join one of the upcoming bordeless retreats.

The amount of authenticity and connection that I’ve felt on this retreat compared to any other nomadic experience I’ve had was incredible! This retreat really teaches you how to hold space and receive space at the same time. And I’ve never felt more connected with humans than I’ve ever had in this retreat in itself.
I think Maris and her team have an amazing way of being able to facilitate a curation of people that are equally inspiring and hold joy and hold space together so that we can grow collectively. And leaning collectively so that we can really tap into our inner power. And I have never felt as powerful as I do right now. And it’s because of this retreat.
This retreat is more than just being mindful. This retreat is really leaning to love, learning to receive love, and really leaning into your superpowers. I'm just forever grateful for this retreat.
It is hard to put into words what I have experienced last week, but I’ll try. I have joined a co-working & mindfulness retreat in Madeira with the intention of breaking my (lazy) home-working routine, feeling less lonely, meeting new people, and learning about the challenges and achievements other digital nomads and remote workers are facing. Being able to work remotely is certainly an amazing opportunity and perk as it gives flexibility, and freedom, enhances productivity, and often makes one think, work and push harder to achieve targets and goals, guess what: against all odds and negative preconceptions! However, this lifestyle comes with its challenges namely isolation, lack of social interaction, and couch potatoing. The latter made me gain 10kg (whaaat!) in a year!
I decided 2020 had to be the year of change and signed myself up for this retreat. What I did not expect is that my mindset and bad habits would switch and rebalance so fast! The retreat consisted of healthy daily activities ranging from early morning stretching & meditation, mastermind sessions where participants shared and opened up about personal or professional struggles and dilemmas, evening cooking sessions, ecstatic dance by the moonlight, group sunset watching, and weekend hikes - all of this without compromising the daily working hours everyone needed to commit to and respect as part of their jobs. The result? A week of incredibly deep exchanges and connections, a continuous flow of emotions and helpful advice, sharing of new skills and knowledge, laughter and tears, enhanced work efficiency, healthier mind, stronger body, and richer soul. It was simply incredible to see a group of strangers coming together and sharing their life stories without filters, or superficial conversations, but with an open mind and eagerness to share their passion for life and this fast-changing world! Thanks, Martusha Golasz and Maris Kohv from Minoma for arranging this special life-changing experience!

Wow. What a week! After one year of the pandemic, I was feeling the need to connect with other human beings, and I'm so glad I chose Minoma to go back to the world.
The team made me feel comfy from the moment I stepped into the house. The group dynamic was magical enough for me to feel 100% myself during the whole process.
The mind + body activities were both fun and inspiring.
The food was healthy and yummy.
There were times to be alone and others to share.
The house and setting were quiet and beautiful...
In other words, this retreat is perfectly balanced in everything it offers. And isn't balance precisely what we're all looking for in our lives?
Thank you Minoma team for this precious experience that I will cherish forever!

One week with Minoma was definitely the most amazing and life-changing experience I had in Bulgaria.
I'm so grateful I met 9 beautiful people. All of them are open-hearted, and honest and bring so much love and joy to this planet. This retreat was full of love, laughter, healing, and deep connections. This one week moved me forward and my heart is full of love and I'm still trying to integrate everything I got.
I could experience the balance of feminine & masculine energy, the doing & being, the giving & receiving, a week of slowing down and healing, and having more ideas & action plans about my business.
It was a safe space to tap into the real me, to accept and show myself, and to discover new sides of me.
The way Maris holds the space for groups is so unique. As a result of this safe space, we were able to open up right from the beginning and be vulnerable. No masks, no pretendings, not acting on the surface level, as we do so many times in 'real life'.
And this is the state when the real magic can happen. When during a breathwork session we were able to go all in and let go of what no longer serves us. We were able to heal our traumas and experience our true selves, inner freedom, and pure joy. During the week, I was in such a flow, I felt so light, and creative in my work, I danced freely, laughed a lot, and felt connected with others.
I still take the days slowly, because integration takes time, and it was hard to land in 'reality', but my heart is still smiling.

This week went differently than expected. I thought I would use the time to get my new project off the ground. Instead, I got back in touch with my healing powers. I connected to those wonderful souls around me on a level that surprised me. I finally broke through some of my patterns that I have worked on for years. This retreat was truly magical.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for opening up and holding this space for so much transformation. You are amazing! This week was a transformation and I am beyond grateful for every second of it.
Went in with minimum expectations and was completely blown away. The most impactful, insightful, and just plain enjoyable week I've had in a long time. So many awesome activities that I would have never thought of doing otherwise. The organizers are absolute stars and really bring so much energy and positivity to the experience. A really great way to connect with interesting people and learn more about yourself.
Minoma Took my Expectations and Blew them Out of the Water!
The idea: Take a group of strangers who had never met previously, stick them in a house, force them to skip small talk and have deep conversations, and see what happens.
The results: New friends, deep connection, and a lasting sense of community.
I’m thrilled I signed up for Minoma. My wife and I were hopeful for a fun experience, but our expectations were nothing compared to how the week actually went. In short, it was an epic ball of awesomeness!
Marta, Maris, and Darrio crafted a week of serious talks, fun hikes, and workshops to stretch our minds and bodies. With ample free time to work (we are digital nomads after all and need to pay for plane tickets and espressos), it was a well-balanced week.
If you are thinking about joining Minoma don’t even hesitate. They take care of every detail and make it easy. They are extremely organized, their activities are well thought out, and they carefully pick the other retreat members to have a good experience for all.
I loved our time there, not only because of my own growth, but for the hope, it gave me in humanity. Here we were, strangers from all walks of life having intimate and impactful conversations. If more people could cut the crap and get real, the world would be a better place. This is just one step towards that aim and I’m happy to be a part of it.
Sign up now. An incredible week of new friends, connection, and a strong sense of community await you.
I had a wonderful experience with Minoma.
Felt much like home. Such a warm and caring community.
Besides this, the retreat was professionally organized with a well-rounded program giving you enough time to work with no pressure to attend events. I also tried many new things for myself. From mindfulness and meditation classes to improvisation dance workshops. Loved it.
Big thank you to the organizers.
I would suggest this retreat even for first-timers.
Stumbled upon the Minoma test run by chance shortly after I moved to Lisbon and am so glad I did! I thought this would be great to meet new people, learn some nomad hacks and go on a self-discovery journey for my new beginnings in Portugal. It ticked all the boxes and much more… the people were amazing, we embarked on activities I wouldn’t have thought of doing otherwise and every moment was filled with infectious laughter, happiness, and positivity. The group became really close very quickly thanks to the thoughtfully laid out schedule and strong moderators. Everyone was incredibly open and supportive and I think all of us took away something impactful and meaningful.
Thank you so much Maris Kohv & Marta Golasz for putting this incredible journey together and making your dream a reality! All the best to you on this journey!
If you are in two minds about whether to join one of Minoma's activities or retreats - please go ahead and do it! You won't regret it.
This was not my first time on Minoma and I have to say honestly, that I was afraid a little bit, it will be somehow less interesting. Couldn't be more wrong:)
It just can't be boring or less satisfying. Start with different people, but also various workshops, places we stay, or even weather. All those ingredients create every time extraordinary atmosphere and amazing conversations.
As always I learned a lot, also about myself.
I've met incredibly interesting people and learned about their beautiful life histories.
And I had one of the best conversations EVER. All of that while having lots of fun and laughing A LOT!
So it was not my first time and definitely not the last one as every Minoma is absolutely unique!

Minoma was like my second family when I was in Lisbon for 3 months. I met really nice people every week and I discovered so many things about myself with the card game (a really magical game!). And I am very proud to say that I was one of the first attendees of the first meeting because I had the chance to see how this project grows more and more. It's really beautiful all the work that Maris Kohv and Marta Golasz are doing for Lisbon's community. Thanks again and again for organizing the workshop, meetup, and games for everyone every week. Keep up the good work and the spirit. Loveeee from us (Ngan and Piotr).

This experience here was truly impactful and life-changing. What I got most out of it was the sense of community, genuine connection, and a non-judgemental environment. The mastermind sessions and brainstorming sessions helped me a lot for my future, of my business. It’s a lot of things I’m going to have to process, it’s like so many things I can’t even comprehend them right now in my head. But I think that the biggest takeaway is the passion of the people here. The genuinity, the community, and the clarity for my future, business, and my social life.
Thank you, guys!
An incredibly well-organized week, powered by amazing people. Learning about ourselves both through the program and the free time, through the community as well as sessions Maris and Marta have set up for us has been an invaluable experience.
The group energy, the structure, and the beautiful choice of location combined help free our minds and explore mental places which we usually cannot in our daily lives. Thank you for bringing these tools into our lives, building up these beautiful moments together, and including us in your journey to mental and physical well-being!
I came to Minoma with completely no expectations and I was really amazed by the content, location, people, and general vibe. It has its own level of intensity as daily we were going into depths that I do not usually go to. For me, it was a perfect combination of mindfulness, deep connection, and work and for some magical reason, I managed to be even more productive than I usually was even tho there were a lot of emotions that were coming out of me daily thanks to meditations, yoga, etc. I think my fav thing about this retreat was body empowerment and dancing, it was incredible to find out people who connect to dance and music on a similar level to me and to see how it was integrated into daily routines as well.
I honestly could not have had a better time, everything from food, organization, and activities to locations was just perfect. Even as an introvert I was able to still have my own peace and comfort and managed to have quality alone time which is always very important to me. It was also very refreshing to meet very open-minded people who are all into growth, mindfulness, and spirituality. I cannot recommend it enough!
I got WAY more than I bargained for! I expected to just have a relaxed week with a bit of yoga and meeting like-minded people - and we did plenty of that, but the LITERALLY life-changing conversations we had, and the heart-opening moments we shared, I will never forget.
Went home literally CRYING tears of joy on the plane!
Even got inspired to make some videos about what I learned.
Thank you, Minoma, for filling my heart and my mind with joy and inspiration!

It's been difficult to put into words the experience I've had at this magical MINOMA retreat with 9 incredible people. I'm still integrating what I've witnessed and felt. Let's just say life is a collection of micro moments and I've experienced some of the most amazing ones here in the foothills of Bulgaria.
I'm forever changed by the energies of these human beings

I can whole-heartedly say this week has been one of the most transformative weeks of my recent years. Not because we did anything out of the ordinary, not because we tapped into a secret sauce unavailable to the outside world. But simply because we co-created a safe space to show up wholly with each other. We put down our walls, we connected, we shared, we opened our hearts without fear, and we were brave to be vulnerable with others who were strangers one week prior.
Life works better when our hearts are open. And yet, our societal structures keep us walking through them confined by the very own walls we have created to keep our hearts safe from judgment, safe from pain. But what if it doesn’t have to be this way? What if there were more safe spaces for us to exist in wholeness? I see a world like that. I will advocate for a world like that.
Thank you to all the incredible people (aka Eggys) who made this space safe for me to transform. I love you and I see you in wholeness. Thank you for walking me home.
I had the chance to participate in the second Minoma retreat and enjoyed every second of this retreat.
I went with the expectation to this retreat to find more inner peace and balance and my expectations were clearly exceeded. The retreat was full of passionate and warm people, I always felt safe and loved as seldom before. Each one was there for the other and gave affection. The activities I enjoyed the most were morning stretching and meditation. The way Maris and Marta led the retreat made it an incredible experience. I thank the two ladies of the heart very much and can recommend it to everyone more than just to experience this experience.
Thank you for everything Maris and Marta!

I have been nomadic for four and a half years now. I came to this retreat because I needed to dig deeper into my own mindfulness. I had been really focused on my businesses, my finances, and my career and had been going through some personal stuff with relationships. I thought that I needed to sort of reset and get back into my mindfulness practice because I was struggling to do that on my own.
My big takeaway from the retreat is to surrender. To not try to force everything in my life. Not trying to rush and make everything happen, instead spend more time breathing and just being mindful, and relaxing. And I think when I do that and what I have noticed this week, is that I have so much more clarity, more confidence to where I’m going. I just feel so much better where it is before I was trying to force everything. So it’s just really surrendering and slowing down.

I came to the retreat because I really wanted a co-lived experience with some other people who were going to prioritize being mindful, getting things done, and having some fun. That was my main motivation for coming. I think through the process of being here I experienced a lot more than I even thought I would.
I recommend the retreat to anyone who really wants to combine the mindset of mindfulness and entrepreneurship or even someone who is working for a company and just wants to spend some time in nature and get some advice, and feedback on things that are challenging in their life. Or maybe someone who wants to feel more open to sharing or someone who is really open to sharing and feel like they want to find their people.
You really do have to kind of let the shield down and open up because when you come to a place like this and you co-live with others. You get to see how they live on a daily basis and what they’re all about. So I think that these kinds of retreats are the best for people who are willing to do open and vulnerable work on themselves and also work with others.
I took part in the 4th edition in Madeira and came with little expectations. Escaping winter, meeting new people, and getting a little bit of work done. That was all I asked for. But waauw, I got so much more in return. Normally I want to do as much as possible in a day. Work, outdoor fun, and nighttime entertainment … but Marta and Maris made me slow down in such a beautiful way. You are at all times free to do whatever you want to do, but they offer such an incredible program for mind, body, and soul. It slowed me down in a way I wanted. I needed. The environment is beautiful, the people they bring together want to get next level in conversations (no small talk), and the food is amazing … It inspired me in a lot of ways and I'm very grateful for that. If you are a digital nomad who wants to get some work done (near the pool!) and collect some meaningful stuff to think about afterward, don't hesitate. Take a trip with Minoma. You won't regret it. I'm definitely joining again one day. See you there!

I had the chance to join an amazing team of facilitators at the Minoma in January 2022. The group of people that joined the retreat happened to be amazing. We connected -one of the main mottos of this project- not only with each other but, in my case, with myself. The atmosphere was welcoming, the location -Gran Canaria- was incredibly well chosen, the company was simply amazing, and the sauna, the views, the swimming pool... what can I say? ... made it perfect. Marta, Kasia, and Judi were warm at heart and completely involved in all the processes. It felt like we were a family, the closest of friends. I can't wait to join another retreat. It was an experience that I'll never forget
